Asia could lose up to $4.7 trillion of GDP annually by 2050. How? Climate change. Increased heat and humidity will limit the number of hours people can work outdoors, resulting in socio economic devastation for some of the most at-risk communities. The impact of climate change might feel far away, but to put it into perspective, we are now closer to 2050 than 1990. McKinsey & Company’s latest report on how climate change could impact APAC paints a grim picture. However, in the face of the pandemic, we were able to rally across borders, industries, and sectors.
