This 90-minute training will demonstrate free tools and techniques you can use in daily reporting and digital storytelling.
We'll look at :
- Flourish Studio, and some simple templates for data visualization
- Ideas for incorporating Google Trends into your articles
- Google Earth for making map-based interactive stories
- Pinpoint, the wonder tool from Google's Journalist Studio
- Advanced search operators for more efficient web and social media searches
- InVid, and other cool tools for verifying people, images, and video
Once you sign up, you'll receive a meeting invite and link by email. The trainings are held via Google Meet (but you don't need an account to join.)
