If you switch to a new utility company

It’s not necessary to cancel your subscription if you switch energy providers. Nest Renew doesn’t replace or affect the service you receive from your electricity provider. Only your electricity provider (like a local electric utility) can provide you with the electricity that powers your home. That’s why you should also consider clean energy options from your electricity provider if they’re available to you.

If you move and switch to a new utility company, you can update your address in the Nest Renew portal.

Transfer a subscription

Nest Renew subscriptions aren’t transferable to other people. If you want to transfer the ownership of your subscription to someone else, cancel your subscription, and the new owner can then sign up themselves. During the early preview period, the new owner must also have been invited to join the early preview.
