Easy to read and very informative. It is one of the most practical and valuable books written on the topic of corporate innovation and venture. Full of keen insights and powerful strategies and ready-to-use checklists. Read it and apply it to the real world challenges of innovation in organizations.

I read “From Talking to Doing” over a few days while on vacation. This book is a thoughtful and realistic approach to building innovation at the corporate level. The author’s thesis is that by having an outcome and implementation-based framework to innovation, the internal entrepreneur (or “intra-preneur”) can be more successful. As someone who has had roles as both an entrepreneur and intrapreneur, I found this book a helpful checklist to all parts of the innovation process: approaching innovation discussion with executives, goal setting, strategy formation, and implementation within a team. I recommend this book to any person responsible for delivering innovative ideas and processes to any business entity, whether it’s at the start-up or corporate level.
